PODCAST-Coming out of Hiding… with Morgan and Cherie Snyder

Come out, come out, wherever you are…

Yes, we’re talking about coming out. Can you believe it? I know. I’m going there. Sort of. Not really. But actually, yes, really, in the most real sense. Cause coming out is for everybody, whether June is your favorite month, or you’d just rather skip right over this month, or for that matter anything you’d rather not face.

The truth is, we’re all pretty good at hiding. Especially this past year or so, wouldn’t you say? Oh, I’d say so. Sheltering in place. Playing it safe. We’ve become Experts at it. Regular Ninjas (the kind who’ve only nailed the covert part of the job description, that is). It’s like we’ve all taken this Graduate Level course in Risk Aversion… and though deep, deep down, we have this desire to bust out of our Glinda-the-Good-Witch-Bubble… it’s kind of unnerving out there!

How do we come out from our “safe place” and navigate the dangers of the real world, with all the uncertainty, all the pitfalls, all those weird people we haven’t had to deal with, who somehow seem just a little bit scarier than they did just 15 months ago?

That’s where Morgan and Cherie Snyder, from Become Good Soil and Wild at Heart come in, to join us for a truly helpful conversation about facing our feelings (it’s not all just fear), taking inventory, taking our time and figuring out this business of transitioning into what’s next for all of us. They are full of wisdom, grace, joy… and they take the Stupid Game to new levels. Just saying.

Seriously, it’s a conversation you’ll want to listen to several times, there’s so much good stuff here. Fortunately, it’s recorded, so you can do that. We’ve thought of everything. You’re welcome.

  1. Nancy,

Thank you for bringing in this “Power Couple”! I just love them! Not only that I re-listened, I wrote down words by words the important points they mentioned that spoke to me specifically. Thank you!
