PODCAST- Nate Pyle: God won’t give you more than you can handle. Really? Ummm…

Don’t you just love trite talk?
Pithy prose?
Clever catchphrases?

Seriously. Who doesn’t?

Oh, you?
Then you’ve come to the right place.

Today on the Isle, Nate Pyle, who also hangs out in places like Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Daily Beast (and yes, I am venue dropping), actually hangs out with us Misfits for a great discussion about the mother of all trite-isms “God won’t give you more than you can handle”. He breaks down where that awful saying came from, and the truth about what it really means.

I even challenged him to make up his own new catchphrase, destined to catch on all around the world. Now you KNOW you want to listen!

Oh, and yeah, he wrote a book about it!
You can order it, and learn oh so much more about Nate here

  1. I was looking for inspiration this morning and came across your podcast on LinkedIn. I loved it, especially the Genesis 1 reference of God birthing a new thing in the midst of darkness and the ensuing uncertainty.
Thank you for following the call that drives you to broadcast from the Isle of Misfits!
