You’d think a chat about beauty would be kinda, well, fluff.
But you’d be WRONG. And I don’t mind telling you, pal.
This is actually one of those conversations that, the more you listen, the more you pick up on some intensely profound (and dare I say “beautiful”? Yes. Yes, I do dare say it) gems of truth about life.
Really. I never joke about these things.
So if you think this is about flowery, girly stuff, think again. Ok, flowers are mentioned. And we are girls. But that notwithstanding, this whole subject of beauty, let me just say, has implications far beyond mere aesthetics. We are wired for it. To seek it. To absorb it. To reflect it. Wherever we are.
I didn’t realize how much I needed this book until I read it.
