PODCAST- Love, Truth & Garry Ingraham

“The truth is, we have so much more in common with one another than we have differences.”

Garry Ingraham said that.

True, true. Gather round, grab a hand, and form the healing circle. It’s one of those podcasts.

But wait, before we start hugging and kumbayah-ing… we need to first address the ugly fact that there’s not a lot of hand-holding and circle-singing going on these days, especially when it comes to the polarizing issue of identity (as if you didn’t already know). As it happens, that is the topic at hand in this episode, and our guest, Garry Ingraham does not shy away from it, but in fact, hits it head on. He’s the founder of Love and Truth Network, and he’s got his own compelling LGBTQ story to tell, about his journey in coming to grips with his own identity. And though it may not look like yours or mine per se, that’s actually kind of the point. As different as we are, diverse as we outwardly come across, in the end, we’re all on a journey to come to grips with who we are wired to be.

And that, my Misfit friend, brings us full circle, back to the above quote. In fact, it’s worth repeating. So here you go:

“The truth is, we have so much more in common with one another than we have differences.”

And the conversation is worth listening to. So here you go:

As if hope and healing weren’t enough, Garry also helps us share some fun facts about Binghamton, NY. 🎠
Oh, and he has his own podcast, too! Check it out here:
