I’m not what you would call a “Bible Basher”. In fact, in my decades on this earth I can honestly say I have never seen an actual Bible being bashed. I must lead a sheltered life.
But I do highly recommend the Bible.
I believe it speaks the truth. The truth about how screwed up we are, but more importantly, the truth about how perfectly loving God is. And most importantly, the truth about how to bridge the gap between the two other truths.
And right about now, we could use some truth.
Not my truth.
Not your truth.
But THE Truth.
There’s a gathering happening all over the world as I write this. You may want to check it out. It may not be perfect. But it’s about returning to God, who, as we’ve established, is perfect.
