I think now would be a great time to take a little break from all of the disheartening and polarizing stuff on our newsfeeds, and just hear a good old fashioned story. The kind they used to tell, you know, back in the day. The kind that has ups, downs, and yes, maybe even some sadness, but at the end of the day, there is redemption… and oh yeah, the kind of movie that families, young and old, of all political persuasions can actually watch together without disowning each other on social media afterwards. That kind of story.
If you’re up for a little respite, too, then by all means, listen in on this fun chat with film director Mitch Davis, about his new movie “The Stray”. It’s based on a real life story (about his own real life) and releases in theatres Friday October 6th. It’s got Michael Cassidy (think Batman vs. Superman), Sarah Lancaster (Chuck, The Judge) and little Connor Corum (from Heaven is for Real) who is not so very little anymore.
And most of all, it is a story fit for a Misfit. So what are you waiting for?

Watching the opening credits to any animal movie, and I burst into tears. I am afraid to even watch the trailer to this movie 😛

Yeah, thus the disclaimer at the end of the podcast – there’s a BIT of sadness in it… but in a redemptive kind of way! :^)
