Right now somebody needs to hear this:

It’s not all up to you.
It’s also not all about you.

People are incalculably valuable.
People are also exhaustingly vexing.

You have much to teach and to offer.
You also have much to learn and to receive.

Some people can be real jerks sometimes.
Also, sometimes that jerk is you.

Suffering is unavoidable in life.
So, also, is beauty and glory.

Someone is also looking up to you.

People are often too busy to get together these days.
People are also dying to get together these days.

Time is a precious commodity.
Also, we don’t always live like we believe that.

Hard conversations can be awkward, even painful.
Hard, painful, awkward conversations can also lead to amazing growth.

No one knows everything you’ve been through.
You also don’t know what they’ve been through.

You stand on the shoulders of giants.
Your shoulders will also hold up future generations.

There are people who mean the world to you.
Also, to those people, you are their world.

Suffering is unavoidable in life.
So, also, is beauty and glory.

Yep, somebody needed to hear this.

Of course, that somebody might be me.
