PODCAST: Mrs. Oswald Chambers… the woman who gave her utmost so we could read “My Utmost…” – chatting with Michelle Ule.

Mrs. Oswald Chambers

I suppose it’s possible you’ve never heard of My Utmost for His Highest?

Not that we’re here to judge you if you haven’t, of course.
(Hey you, rolling your eyes, be nice.  We’ve got all types here, remember?)

Juuust in case you haven’t, well, you’re in for a double treat, my friend.  It’s only considered the most popular Devotional Book of all the devotional books (and belieeeeve me, there’s PLENty of them out there in Christian devotional book land)… and its popularity is for a reason.  It’s reeeeeally good.  Like, profoundly good.  But don’t take my word for it.  Here’s the link, where you can experience it for yourself (oh, and don’t worry about piracy or anything, it’s all free, Chambers was like that):

Ok, now that we’ve established that, here’s what you need to know.  We’d never be having this conversation, you’d never know about “My Utmost…”, and for that matter, you would never even have heard of Oswald Chambers at all,  were it not for the subject of today’s podcast, his remarkable wife, Biddy.

You need to know their story.  You’ll want to read the book.  But before you do, you get to listen to this fascinating conversation with Michele Ule, author of “Mrs. Oswald Chambers”, and a beautiful story teller in her own right.  You’re welcome :^)
